Please note that learners using v-Portfolio must be 14 years or over. If you are under 14 years old you must not use v-Portfolio.

We may update or revise these terms of use at any time without notice. You are responsible for reviewing these terms of use on each occasion that you visit this website and if you continue to use this website after changes are made you are deemed to have accepted them.

The design of this website and all content and technology used or appearing on the site is the copyright of Creating Careers Limited or its licensors, and all rights are reserved. Nothing in this website should be taken as conferring any licence or right to use any trade mark displayed on the website without the prior written approval of the trade mark owner.

You may print off or download content from our this site as permitted under the fair dealing provisions of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended) (sections 28 to 30) for the purposes of viewing it on your computer, research for non-commercial purposes, private study, criticism, review and news reporting, provided that you do not alter it in any way and acknowledge us as the source of the content and the copyright owner.

We may from time to time (at our discretion) provide message boards, discussion forums or similar facilities that allow users to post content or messages or to interact with us or other users (“message boards”) on our website. If the message boards are provided, then they are provided free of charge and we make no guarantee as to their availability or continued provision. We reserve the right to alter or remove message board facilities at any time.

Use of v-Portfolio and message boards

Although we may from time to time monitor or review the content of v-Portfolio or message boards, we are under no obligation to do so and can assume no responsibility or liability arising from any material or content posted by you or any third party.

You agree to use v-Portfolio and message board in a considerate manner and to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, policies, Internet etiquette and any policies established by your Centre such as a college of further education, school or other organisation. Using a false identity or pseudonym or in any other way which may give the impression that any content or material originated from someone other than you;
To post or transmit any unlawful, indecent or dishonest content or material including content which is pornographic, obscene, defamatory, blasphemous, racist, abusive, offensive, menacing or of an extremist political nature or which may incite violence, sadism, cruelty or racial hatred, or which may facilitate prostitution or paedophilia;
To post or transmit any material which infringes any third parties intellectual property rights or constitutes plagiarism;
For commercial purposes including the transmission or circulation of marketing, advertising or promotional material or to solicit sales for any goods or services;
To transmit or forward unsolicited material, junk mail, chain letters or spam;
To transmit material likely to cause harm to or adversely affect our or any other persons computer systems including mail bombs, denial of service attacks, viruses or other disruptive or harmful programs, devices or code; or
In any way which damages or adversely affects our reputation.

If we, in our absolute discretion, consider that you have made improper use of any part of v-Portfolio or a message board, we reserve the right to remove without notice any unacceptable or undesirable content or material and to block, suspend or terminate without notice your access to v-Portfolio, the message board or any part of either of them.

We will be entitled to co-operate fully with the police or other relevant authority or any court order requesting or directing us to disclose your identity where you have posted improper content or material on any part of v-Portfolio or the message boards.
