What is a v–Portfolio?
v–Portfolio is a web–based e–portfolio developed by the vision2learn team. It can be used by anyone who needs a web–based system for delivering and storing evidence relating to competence–based qualifications such as NVQs, SVQs and VRQs including learners, tutors, teachers, assessors and employers.
v–Portfolio is:
- Entirely web–based – all users need is access to a web browser and an Internet connection.
- Very accessible – the v–Portfolio can be used anywhere, at any time, wherever there’s an Internet connection.
- Quick and easy to use – files are uploaded just once and then they can be linked to evidence across a number of qualifications.
- Highly flexible – all file types can be uploaded – text, sound, images, video evidence and so on.
- A role–based system – which means v–Portfolio can be used by learners, assessors, internal verifiers, external verifiers and college administrators.
